§2 Summary
Your personal data is important to us. We make every effort to protect your data. All data traffic is encrypted. We use cookies on our website for analysis purposes. You can be sure that we will not pass on, publish, exchange or even sell your personal data to third parties. This privacy policy applies to our public website.
Detailed information on data protection can be found below:
§3 General information
The following notes provide a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website. Personal data is all data with which you can be personally identified.
The protection and security of your personal data is important to us. This website therefore stores and processes data exclusively in accordance with the legal provisions and the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The current version of the GDPR can be found at https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/DE/ALL/?uri=celex:32016R0679
This data protection declaration only applies to this website. If you are redirected to other websites via links on our website, inform yourself directly on the redirected website about the respective handling of your data. Your personal data (e.g. salutation, name, title if applicable, address, e-mail address, telephone number) will only be processed by us in accordance with the provisions of data protection law. The following regulations inform you about the type, scope and purpose of the collection, processing and use of personal data.
The use of this website is usually possible without providing personal data. Insofar as personal data (e.g. name, address or e-mail address) is collected on our website, this is always done on a voluntary basis as far as possible. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent.
We would like to point out that data transmission on the Internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail or via non-encrypted websites) can have security gaps. A complete protection of the data against access by third parties is not possible.
The data you enter will only be used for the purpose of registration. Your data will not be shared with third parties.
§4 Data collection
On the one hand, your data is collected when you communicate it to us. This can be e.g. data that you enter in a contact form. This data is transmitted to us and stored.
Other data is collected automatically or with your consent when you visit the website. This is primarily technical data (e.g. internet browser, operating system or time of the page call). This data is collected automatically as soon as you enter this website.
§5 Data Usage
In principle, we only collect and use personal data from our users or customers to the extent that this is necessary to provide a functioning website and our content and services. We use your personal data to provide the requested service (lessons), to answer your questions and to operate and improve our websites and applications.
The collection and use of personal data of our users or customers only takes place on the basis of a corresponding legal basis within the meaning of the GDPR, e.g. after consent. Further details on consent can be found in this data protection declaration.
There is no further use of your personal data. Your personal data will not be transmitted to third parties or used for advertising purposes without your consent, with the exception of the cases described below, unless we are legally obliged to disclose data.
§6 Your rights
You have the right to receive information about the origin, recipient and purpose of your stored personal data free of charge at any time. You also have the right to request the correction or deletion of this data. If you have given your consent to data processing, you can revoke this consent at any time for the future. You also have the right, under certain circumstances, to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted. In addition, you have the right at any time to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority regarding the processing of your personal data.
Data Protection Authority Austria: (https://www.dsb.gv.at/)
Virtual Data Protection Office (https://www.datenschutz.de/organisation-datenschutz/)
European Data Protection Supervisor (https://edps.europa.eu/)
You can contact us at any time if you have any further questions on the subject of data protection.
§7 Registration
If you send us your registration data for a course via our registration form, we will use the data you enter exclusively to process your registration, for general business development and for statistical purposes; the data will not be passed on to third parties. The data you enter in the registration form will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory legal provisions - in particular retention periods - remain unaffected.
The processing of the data entered in the registration form takes place with regard to the initiation, implementation or termination of a contractual relationship (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b DSGVO).
The provision of your personal data is voluntary. However, we can only process your registration if you provide us with the necessary data.
§8 Newsletter
You can subscribe to a free newsletter on our website. When registering for the newsletter, the data from the input mask is transmitted to us. In order to be able to register for our e-mail newsletter service, in addition to your consent, we need at least your e-mail address and your name to which the newsletter is to be sent. You are free to decide whether you provide us with this data. Without this information, however, we cannot send our newsletter to you.
As part of the purchase of services, you can agree that your e-mail address will subsequently be used to send a newsletter.
The legal basis for the processing of the data after the user has registered for the newsletter is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR if the user has given their consent.
The collection of the user's e-mail address serves to deliver the newsletter. When registering for the newsletter, your e-mail address will be used for our own advertising purposes until you unsubscribe from the newsletter. The data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required to achieve the purpose for which they were collected. The e-mail address of the user is therefore stored as long as the subscription to the newsletter is active.
To deregister, you can either send us an informal e-mail to office@campus-deutsch.at or a letter to Campus Deutsch, Barbara Schmidt, Nötsch 271, 9611 Nötsch im Gailtal.
You can revoke your consent to the collection of other personal data collected during the registration process at any time.
The data will only be used to send the newsletter.
§9 Contact form
If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact details you provided there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions.
Your consent will be obtained for the processing of the data during the sending process and reference will be made to this data protection declaration. Alternatively, you can contact us via the e-mail address provided. In this case, the user's personal data transmitted with the e-mail will be stored.
In this context, the data will not be passed on to third parties. The data will only be used to process the conversation.
The legal basis for processing the data is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR if the user has given their consent. The legal basis for the processing of the data transmitted in the course of sending an e-mail is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter f GDPR. If the e-mail contact is aimed at concluding a contract, the additional legal basis for processing is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.
The processing of the personal data from the input mask serves us solely to process the contact. If contact is made by e-mail, this is also the necessary legitimate interest in the processing of the data.
The data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required to achieve the purpose for which they were collected. For the personal data from the input mask of the contact form and those sent by e-mail, this is the case when the respective conversation with the user has ended. The conversation is over when it can be inferred from the circumstances that the facts in question have been finally clarified.
The user has the option to revoke their consent to the processing of personal data at any time. In this case, please contact us: office@campus-deutsch.at.
If the user contacts us by e-mail, they can object to the storage of their personal data at any time. In such a case, the conversation cannot be continued. All personal data that was saved in the course of making contact will be deleted in this case.
§ 10 Inquiry by e-mail or telephone
If you contact us by e-mail or telephone, your request, including all resulting personal data (name, request) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of processing your request. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
This data is processed on the basis of Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your request is related to the fulfillment of a contract or is necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR) if this was queried.
The data you sent to us via contact requests will remain with us until you request deletion, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory legal provisions - in particular statutory retention periods - remain unaffected.
§11 Liability
The guidelines described apply exclusively to our website and do not extend to sites to which we have set links.
§12 Duration of storage
Unless a specific storage period has been specified in this data protection declaration, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for data processing no longer applies. If you assert a legitimate request for deletion or revoke your consent to data processing, your data will be deleted unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing your personal data (e.g. tax or commercial law retention periods); in the latter case, the data will be deleted once these reasons have ceased to exist.
§13 Analysis Tools and Third-Party Tools
When you visit this website, your surfing behavior can be statistically evaluated. This is mainly done with so-called analysis programs.
Among other things, we use tools from companies based in the USA or other third countries that are not secure under data protection law. If these tools are active, your personal data can be transferred to these third countries and processed there. We would like to point out that in these countries no level of data protection comparable to that in the EU can be guaranteed. For example, US companies are obliged to hand over personal data to security authorities without you as the person concerned being able to take legal action against this. We have no influence on these processing activities.
§14 Hosting
IONOS SE is responsible for hosting this website. The provider is IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany.

IONOS is used on the basis of Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in our website being displayed as reliably as possible. If a corresponding consent has been requested, the processing takes place exclusively on the basis of Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR; the consent can be revoked at any time.
§ 15 Server Log Files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
This data is not merged with other data sources.
This data is collected on the basis of Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of his website - the server log files must be recorded for this purpose.
§16 Information about cookies
Our website uses so-called "cookies". Cookies are small text files and do not cause any damage to your end device. They are stored on your end device either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies). Session cookies are automatically deleted after your visit. Permanent cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them yourself or until they are automatically deleted by your web browser.
Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted after your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit.
Cookies have different functions. Numerous cookies are technically necessary because certain website functions would not work without them. Other cookies are used to evaluate user behavior or to display advertising.
Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process (necessary cookies) or to provide certain functions you want (functional cookies) or to optimize the website (e.g. cookies for measuring web audience) are set on the basis of Art. 6 Paragraph 1 lit. f GDPR, unless another legal basis is given. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of its services. If consent to the storage of cookies was requested, the relevant cookies are stored exclusively on the basis of this consent (Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR); the consent can be revoked at any time.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when the browser is closed. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted.
§17 Social Media Cookies
We do not use social media plug-ins to store or analyze data from our users. Although you will find a link to Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp on our pages, these are not linked directly to us, which means that your data will not be collected, stored or used in any other way or for any other purpose.
§18 Cookies for Web Analytics (Google Analytics)
The purpose of the processing is the statistical evaluation and technical optimization of the website. The data is used anonymously. The legal basis is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter B of the GDPR.
Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"), 1600 Amphitheater Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies" - text files that are stored on your computer and that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookies about your use of our website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
However, by activating IP anonymization on all pages of our website, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your Internet browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
You can prevent the storage of cookies or the setting of cookies by making the appropriate settings in your Internet browser software (all common Internet browsers offer settings for this). You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading the Internet browser plug-in available under this link and install. However, we would like to point out that in these cases you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent.
By using our website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above. For more information, please visit the Google Analytics page and Google's privacy policy.
§19 Communication via WhatsApp
We use the WhatsApp instant messaging service to communicate with our customers and other third parties. The provider is WhatsApp Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland.
Communication takes place via end-to-end encryption (peer-to-peer), which prevents WhatsApp or other third parties from gaining access to the communication content. However, WhatsApp receives access to metadata that is created in the course of the communication process (e.g. sender, recipient and time). We would also like to point out that WhatsApp, according to its own statements, shares personal data of its users with its US-based parent company Facebook. Further details on data processing can be found in WhatsApp's privacy policy at: https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/#privacy-policy.
WhatsApp is used on the basis of our legitimate interest in communicating with customers, prospects and other business and contractual partners as quickly and effectively as possible (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR). If a corresponding consent was requested, the data processing takes place exclusively on the basis of the consent; this can be revoked at any time with effect for the future.
The communication content exchanged between and on WhatsApp remains with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory legal provisions - in particular retention periods - remain unaffected.
§20 E-Mail
The websites were created by the service provider IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. So does the associated e-mail inbox.
IONOS SE provides email services such as creating, configuring and deleting email addresses. Inventory data, content data and traffic data are recorded. The legal basis is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter b of the GDPR. Other subcontractors involved are 1&1 Mail & Media GmbH, Montaguer, Germany and
Open-Xchange, Cologne, Germany.
§21 Google reCAPTCHA
We use “Google reCAPTCHA” (hereinafter “reCAPTCHA”) on our websites. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google").
With reCAPTCHA it should be checked whether the data entry on our website (e.g. in a contact form) is done by a human or by an automated program. To do this, reCAPTCHA analyzes the behavior of the website visitor based on various characteristics. This analysis starts automatically as soon as the website visitor enters the website. For analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates various information (e.g. IP address, length of stay of the website visitor on the website or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis is forwarded to Google.
The reCAPTCHA analyzes run completely in the background. Website visitors are not informed that an analysis is taking place.
Data processing takes place on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting its web offerings from abusive automated spying and from SPAM.
For more information about Google reCAPTCHA and Google's privacy policy, please visit the following links: www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/ and www.google.com/recaptcha/intro/android.html.
Google processes your data in the USA. There is no adequacy decision for the USA.
§22 SSL or TLS encryption
This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as requests that you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line.
If SSL encryption is activated, the data that you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
